Share know what 'Mbps' and 'MBps' stands for

There is a big difference between MBps and Mbps (small b and capital B) .. Mbps means Megabits where MBps means Megabytes, to convert Megabit to Megabyte, you divide ur Megabits by 8 since there are 8 bits in a byte

Megabits (Mb) Megabytes (MB)

So technically if you are getting 2mbps on ur speedster or modem software, your downloader (idm, dap) download speed should be approx 0.25MB/s or 250KBps... Bytes is equal to Bits divided by 8.

Here is the Maths behind this literature..

512 Kbps = 64 KB/s

1 Mbps or 1024 Kbps = 128 KB/s

2 Mbps or 2048 Kbps = 256 KB/s

4 Mbps or 4096 Kbps = 512 KB/s

where small letter b means bits and capital letter B means Bytes

I hope its clear now?

Thanks.
